T-Fork Long Range Shooting Complex
At the T-Fork Long Range Shooting Complex, we provide all the essential tools and comforts for mastering long range shooting techniques. Our facility is designed to be one of the most educational and enjoyable shooting schools in the country for hunters eager to extend their range and improve their odds. Weather is never a concern here, as we offer a climate-controlled indoor training and shooting facility alongside outdoor targets at 100-yard increments ranging from 300 to 1300 yards. Each target is illuminated, enabling marksmanship training even in complete darkness, allowing you to apply valuable rifle shooting tips in any conditions!
Lodging is provided onsite within walking distance of the training complex, making it convenient for participants to focus on developing their long range shooting techniques. We have 3 bedrooms, each equipped with 2 double beds, along with 1 bathroom and a living/conference area, allowing us to accommodate up to 6 friends for an immersive marksmanship training experience. Each day, meals are provided along with snacks and coffee, helping everyone stay energized while they learn essential rifle shooting tips.
Itinerary for our Long-Range Shooting Instruction
We kick off our weekend on Friday evenings with a meet and greet, followed by rifle setup where we check elevation availability and chronograph your rifle’s velocity using a state-of-the-art Lab Radar. On Saturday, we dive into long range shooting techniques with target engagement and data collection out to 1,300 yards. This session includes marksmanship training, zeroing the arc of your projectile in 100-yard increments up to 1,300 yards by trueing the ballistic coefficient and stability factors of your actual ammunition, providing valuable rifle shooting tips along the way.
You will learn essential long range shooting techniques, including how to collect data and make proper elevation and windage adjustments with our expert guidance. This training will help you understand the true arc of your projectile down range, leading to more precise and ethical harvests. During your time at our range, you'll gain valuable insights into proper equipment, mirage effects, and reading wind in the field, as well as spin drift, ballistic coefficients, Coriolis effects, suitable bullets, and reticle ranging. With this marksmanship training, you’ll be prepared to shoot effectively at 1,000 yards during your next big game hunt, alongside expert rifle shooting tips.
You will find that your knowledge easily translates to any of your future hunting calibers. We recommend starting with short action calibers for optimal marksmanship training. Common options include the 6.5 Creedmoor, .308, and 6 Creedmoor, as these are some of the most popular short action calibers. We advise against using magnum calibers due to their demanding nature during extended target engagements, which can be quite challenging for your learning experience. Bring your favorite hunting rifle and consider using one of our rentals to enhance your long range shooting techniques while you learn the course through effective rifle shooting tips.
On Sunday, we are excited to assist those of you with your hunting rifles in applying long-range shooting techniques to zero your projectile’s arc and prepare your equipment for your next long-range hunt. You will need approximately 40 rounds of your hunting ammo to ensure that your rifle's arc is corrected. Once we achieve this, your hunting rifle will be primed for your next adventure, allowing you to utilize effective rifle shooting tips for distances up to 1,000 yards and beyond, enhancing your marksmanship training.
Sunday is also a great time for some friendly competition in long-range shooting among the guests. Throughout the weekend, we include games and challenges that are perfect for putting your marksmanship training to the test and enhancing your long range shooting techniques. Using your D.O.P.E. (Data Obtained from Previous Engagements) book has proven to be an excellent way to have fun, build your confidence, and apply effective rifle shooting tips while achieving great results.

Tye Sims has dedicated a significant part of his life to mastering long range shooting techniques and harvesting multiple big game species across the globe at various extended ranges. Over his impressive 30+ years of hunting, Tye has successfully harvested well over 100 species of large game animals in 3 continents and 4 countries, with several successful hunts exceeding 1,400 yards! He and his staff are deeply passionate about their work and share their extensive marksmanship training and valuable rifle shooting tips with fellow hunters and sportsmen.
While abroad, Tye has gained a wealth of knowledge that he wants to share with each of you, learned from some of the best guides, shooters, marksmen, and professional hunters globally. Tye and his staff are eager to assist you in better understanding long range shooting techniques and what it takes to succeed in real world scenarios at 1,000 yards and beyond. REQUIRED SUPPRESSION EQUIPMENT
During your visit to T Fork Outfitters and Long Range LLC., you will need to have a suppressed rifle, or you can rent a suppressor on-site. To ensure you can practice your long range shooting techniques comfortably, your rifle must have 5/8” x 24 threads compatible with a suppressor, necessary for shooting inside our climate-controlled facility. This requirement is in place to enhance hearing safety and enjoyment for everyone engaged in marksmanship training and practicing rifle shooting tips inside our facility. If your rifle cannot accommodate a suppressor, we offer rifle rentals for an additional fee.

Rifle rentals are $150/person, and ammunition is available at fair market value—please check for availability and pricing when discussing rifle shooting tips.
